The possibility of them doing business or purchasing something from you in the future increases significantly.

If you think about it most business establish relationships in this manner. Network marketing should be treated the same way. That is exactly what attraction marketing promotes.

Attraction marketing opens the door to monetization. What is monetization? As you are generating prospects you are given the ability to create other streams of income. You can offer other information related to your primary networking opportunity.

Theme Parties Are The Rage

February 3rd, 2009

Planning a party can be quite a lot of fun. There are many steps involved but choosing a theme can sometimes be the most difficult. A theme not only has to be creative, but it also must be well thought out, planned down to the very last detail. The real challenge in choosing the right theme is to decide that you will think outside of the box. There are many great party planning ideas online, but it seems like everyone throws a 70s party or a pajama party. Think about the people who will be coming. Do they have a common interest? Consider throwing a murder mystery party or something that can get everyone involved and help avoid the lulls that sometimes can kill the party atmosphere.

Shop for ideas. Keep your eyes and ears open. Sometimes party ideas can come from very different places. You can shop around in clothing boutiques and even in toy stores. Just stay open to suggestions and you will find ideas popping out at you from every aisle.

Get a second opinion. Once you have come up with a few different party ideas, bounce them off family members and friends. Not only can they help you land on the perfect theme, but they may also be able to help you expand on different decor, food, and other party planning ideas.

Your budget must be considered as you plan your event. Get a pad and list all of the ideas you have for your party and their approximate cost. This will allow you to pick and choose what you can and can’t afford to do. If there’s something that costs to much, then think of a different way to do it without spending quite so much. The internet is an excellent source for thousands of creative ideas for budget parties.

After you decide on a theme, then the party plans will quickly begin to all fall into place. Pay attention to detail because that is what planning is all about. The more you have things preplanned and laid out beforehand, the more time you will have to relax and enjoy the party and your guests.

Turn Prospecting Disaster To Success In Four Steps

February 3rd, 2009

But four specific steps can turn disastrous campaigns into successes. Despite frustrations, B2B cold calling is alive and well and continues to fill companies’ sales pipelines. Professionals at the highest levels of their careers employ this prospecting activity to augment sales made through warm referrals and introductions. But for many salespeople, telephone canvassing has posed challenges that have driven them to stop cold calling altogether. Here’s why: a. Only 5% to 30% of prospects are at their desks and answer their phones. b. Most calling lists do not contain the decision-makers’ correct names. c. Voicemail is universal and blocks most calls. d. Roughly 30% of a cold caller’s time is spent navigating phone systems and company directories.

How, then, do successful cold callers make sales this way? Here are four critical activities to make cold calling worth the time, aggravation and investment: a. Make absolutely sure you have the very best list you can obtain. Your calling list accounts for 70% of the success of your campaign. Today, successful calling campaigns require a targeted, accurate list. There is an entire cottage industry of Internet researchers who create custom lists - at rates of $60 to $150 per hour - using proprietary databases and other techniques. The rates are well worth the investment if your campaign relies on reaching prospects with specific criteria that cannot be found on generic mailing lists. For instance, a global technology firm wanted to target prospects who owned specific hardware. It paid an outside company to identify these prospects and create a qualified list. As a result, the technology firm implemented a focused and effective calling campaign.

b. Develop a compelling voice message and call multiple times. Most sales training imbues people with the practice of never leaving voice messages because they are a waste of time and money. It is absolutely false that no one will return a cold call. Recipients in greatest need of your product or service will return persuasive voice messages. More importantly, every voice message serves as a “touch.” Advertising experts say it takes six to 30 “touches” such as print ads, TV ads, phone calls, or letters for a prospect to take action. If an individual is not ready to respond now, he or she may respond to another “touch” in a month or two. Each voice message is a new touch. Three companies - a major national marketing firm, a 60-year-old national fund management company, and an up-start regional advertising firm targeting Fortune 100 companies - can attest to the benefits of repeat calling. Each reported gaining some of their most valuable prospects after the third or fourth phone message.

c. Create a B2B cold calling department or hire an outsourced calling team. A top-tier sales person could be on the phone for five hours before getting a single qualified lead. This is a waste talent ant time. You don’t need a top tier salesperson to make calls. Callers need to know two things and only two things: what problems your products or service solve for prospects, and what makes your firm unique. You can hire an entire team of callers with no experience in your industry to canvass prospects via the phone and hunt down hot leads. Your team of cold callers must be conversational, work without a script and sound alert for every call. Leave the technical and pricing details to the high priced salesperson.

d. Create campaigns that intersperse mailings and calls. Mail prospects before and during your cold calling campaign, especially if your product or service is: 1, Visual, such as advertising or promotional products. 2. Complex, such as a technology or pharmaceuticals. 3. A mature product in a saturated market such as printing or collections.

If the mailing piece is memorable, it will create a warmer reception for the cold caller and enhance opportunities for success.

In today’s environment, planning and creative thinking result in cold calling success - and help sales professionals fill pipelines during times when referrals fall short.

Using Email Marketing For The Success Of Your Business

With the advent of the internet it has changed the way a business can both advertise and reach customers. Businesses used to reach out to potential consumers through leads in both the telephone and in the mail. While those are still a popular forms of advertisements the internet has changed the way to reach out to leads in a way no one could have ever imagined. Leads and lead generation have been around for decades and email marketing has taken lead marketing to another level.

One of the best forms of lead marketing is email marketing. Email marketing is a direct marketing form that uses email to reach customers and inform them of their goods or services. The reason email has become such a popular form of leads is because how prevalent email is around the globe.

Often times an audience is turned off by the fact that a business will call them during dinner or while they are at work. Sometimes people consider the advertisements that people send them in the mail, “junk mail, and get irritated by the fact that they have more garbage then they would normally have. Through email, there is no access paper being wasted and internet users can check out the business marketing on their own time. The way it works is that an owner or an employee will put together an opt in list or an opt in email. This is called list marketing and is used by different companies around the world.

The Importance Of Leads In An Online Business

February 2nd, 2009

Whenever a business is taking a lead marketing approach, it is important to recognize that these leads will only be sold one time. List marketing is the people responsible for creating the leads for businesses. These leads will not be going out to hundred of businesses so the competition is not going to be there. There are two main types of lead generations and they are called sales leads and lead marketing.

Sales leads are going to be sold to multiple businesses so you generally will not be the first contact and it is important to be fresh and creative when you dial the number so that they will take a liking to your charming pitch. Sales leads will have personal financial information so you can be well informed of each individual and make the necessary pitch.

Generally a company will start off by gathering an email list full of addresses and then carefully scan over the list and decide which ones will be a part of the opt in email. Sales leads are often financial leads and they involve financial institutions like the mortgage, insurance, and investment worlds. List marketing is the people responsible for creating the leads for businesses. They will put together an eye catching email that will attract potential consumers.

Lead Marketing is a whole different ballgame. These leads are only sold once, and are way more expensive. It is important to practice, practice, practice, before making these pitches because each lead represents a tremendous amount of money.

Instead of phoning and sending out paper mail a lot businesses have taken to email and there are a lot of advantages and disadvantages of going this route. This works because companies will develop email lists full of addresses and decide which ones will be a part of their opt in email. Once the email goes out, it will reach a large amount of potential consumers and then they can decide on their own time whether they are interested in the products or services that are being offered. It will be the choice of the email recipient whether they want to opt in or opt out of the email.

The email will go out and reach a large targeted amount of people and the business can sit back and track how many responses they are getting and how effective their email campaign was. The only negative connotation associated with email is that is up to the user whether or not they want to open the email and they can sometimes discard it without even bothering to look at what is inside. This can be very frustrating for businesses because they can track the amount of people looking at their email and some may want to have that more personal feeling of talking to people directly on the telephone. Everyone needs these types of services in their life and they want to work with someone they can trust. If you come across as a person that is going to benefit their life, then you are already one step ahead of the curve.

Build Your Wealth Through MLM Business

February 1st, 2009

Network Selling is also called as Multi-level marketing or MLM. Supplying goods produced by an organization directly to the consumer is the principle on which MLM operates. The seller who creates the largest network as in results to the profit margins get channelised.

Multilevel Marketing, or MLM, is a system for selling goods or services through a network of distributors. Compensation is earned depending on the number of products that you are able to sell. For most MLM businesses, compensation is commission-based. It is now the trend to do MLM business where the earnings are limitless. The opportunity is like the vast blue ocean for you to tap your financial resources.

Distributors earn a commission based on the sales efforts of their organization, which includes their independent sale efforts as well as the leveraged sales efforts of their downline. This arrangement is similar to franchise arrangements where royalties are paid from the sales of individual franchise operations to the franchisor as well as to an area or region manager.

Both through the sales of the MLM’s products and through recruiting other distributors you can earn money. MLM’s receives a portion of the income these distributors generate and choose to become a distributor with the Multilevel Marketing Company.

The distributor that originally recruited you is called your Upline. Often he or she will give you some help getting started, including training. Downline is referred to the distributors that you sign up with your Multilevel Marketing plan.

Investigate the opportunity thoroughly, just as you would with any other proposed business venture to become a part of MLM. Marketing plans should not contravene the Competition Act only then are legal. Illegal Multilevel Marketing plans are created equal, and some may not be MLM at all, but pyramid schemes.

The FTC warns that the practice of getting commissions from recruiting new members is outlawed in most states as “pyramiding”. FTC proposed a Business Opportunity Rule intended to require all sellers of business opportunities which is including MLM’s and to provide enough information to enable prospective buyers to make an informed decision about their probability of earning money in April 2006. One of the issues is the FTC has a hard time regulating the entire Internet. That’s why people will find scams stay on the Internet for several months if not years after they have been caught and exposed. The multi-level marketing organizations with greater incentives for recruitment than product sales are to be viewed skeptically is advised by The FTC. There are many opportunities in MLM industry, choose the best MLM business.
